I am a student of politics currently between schools as I await word from PhD Programs (a more detailed academic history can be found here). While my intellectual interests are wide-ranging, my academic research is primarily focused on the supranationalization in the world system, modernity and the Middle East, metadisciplinary approaches to political study, and the media’s effect on democratic politics.

I created this blog to:

1. Review academic literature;
2. Enhance my critical capabilities through the practice of regular intellectual exercises; and
3. Elicit feedback about my observations and political theories from a broad audience.
